Off-the shelf, Semi-Designed, Fully Tailored, Courses

Lado offers three types of English training course design:

• Off-the-shelf,
• Semi-designed, and
• Fully tailored courses.

Each course is planned and implemented with full cooperation and input from the HR department so that the specific needs of the client are met.

Off-the-Shelf Courses

Lado offers a wide range of off-the-shelf courses, using a variety of published course books suitable for any level and developing every skill.

Note:

Off-the-shelf courses are more suitable for general English training at lower levels.

Semi-Designed Courses

Lado offers semi-designed courses, by selecting appropriate units from published material and carefully arranging them into courses that ensure steady progression and an emphasis on meeting client needs.

This kind of course design is especially appropriate in situations where there may be overlapping needs or more than one aim.

Fully Tailored Courses

Lado also offers a fully tailored course design service, where the teaching and learning materials as well as testing and assessment formats are all produced by us with the specific needs of the client in mind.

From the beginning, such premium courses are designed with the full cooperation of the HR department. Sample language is collected from the client, either in the form of writing or telephone conference transcripts, and analyzed using the latest techniques in corpus linguistics. The materials produced are skill and industry specific.

Fully tailored courses are produced either for the client to implement in their own in-house training programs, or are delivered by Lado instructors. If the client chooses to run the course using their own instructors, Lado is on-hand to offer expert advice and full professional support.
